McKibben + Cooper Architects completed the new home for the Environmental Protection Agency's Idaho office in the Banner Bank Building; a 195,000 square foot, 11 story, class-A office building in downtown Boise.
The design includes many of the high-performance features of the Banner Bank Building:
- Demountable modular walls for pollution-free work environments and reduced construction waste
- Underfloor delivery for heating, cooling, and electrical and special data systems.
- Indirect-direct electric lighting with occupancy sensors.
The project is currently in preparation of a LEED- CI application with an anticipated rating of Platinum.
