The Nampa streetscape plan is a guideline to implement new streetscape designs for the three primary districts of downtown Nampa; The Historic district includes Nampa's oldest structures and features a patterned brick sidewalk. The village and business districts are coordinated variations on this scheme. Pedestrian, transit and bicycle studies were undertaken to maximize the walkability of Nampa's downtown. Large areas of head-in parking were eliminated to increase sidewalk area and coordinated with Nampa's structured parking plan. Gateway locations were identified for each district and intersection paving patterns implemented to call out these gateways. A special street section was implemented for Nampa's Farmers Market, which is conducted in the street. The Market venue, called Lloyd's Crossing, won an Idaho Smart Growth award in 2013.
